Le Caravelle
Written on Tuesday, 11 August 2015 @ 11:14 ✈
Note: Le Caravelle at Canley Heights only opens its restaurant seating to people who only want to grab ice cream after 10pm.
{ Flavours: mango, kinder surprise, green tea }
This was I think the large which held about 6 scoops?
The mango had the strongest flavour of the 3 flavours, although the mango flavour tasted like it had been mixed with shaved ice. I could taste and feel the bits of shaved ice melt in my mouth with every spoonful of the mango.
The kinder surprise flavour was much lighter than I expected and had tasted in the past. It tasted as if it had been diluted with cream or milk? Compared to the kinder surprise ice cream from V Lounge, it was about a quarter of the strength of the flavour.
Green tea was a pleasant strength. The strength of the flavour was in between the mango and kinder surprise. It was enough to balance out the sweetness of the mango and kinder surprise, which I felt had kept me from needing to take a gulp water to wash down the sweet taste.
For those who have more of a sweet tooth or want a stronger flavour in their ice creams, V-Lounge would probably be a better option.
